Had a wonderful stay at The Dwarika's Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, full of traditional Nepali charm, and feels very peaceful. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well designed. The food was also excellent. A perfect place to experience Nepali culture with great hospitality. Highly recommended!
Gokarna House Restaurant
By far the best hotel we ever stayed at, it has such a personal touch and the service is excellent. As soon as you enter the garden, the noise of the busy streets just stops and all you can hear are the birds and leaves blowing in the wind. The garden is luscious and there are plenty of corners to hide and relax. We had the junior suite, with a lovely courtyard view and large, open bathroom. The evening service that they offer is also a nice touch. We ate several times there and every vegan and vegetarian dish was delicious, whether it was from the local or international menu. The staff were also very professional and attentive. Excellent place, a must stay if visiting Kathmandu, or at least to enjoy a meal :)

The Dwarika’s Hotel is more than a luxury hotel—it’s a living museum of Nepal’s rich history and culture. Every corner reflects the beauty of traditional Newari architecture, with beautifully restored wood carvings and heritage craftsmanship. The peaceful courtyards, warm hospitality, exceptional service, and authentic Nepali experience make every stay unforgettable. If you want to experience Nepal’s historical and cultural heritage in true luxury, The Dwarika’s is one of the finest places to stay. Highly recommended!

Dwarika’s Hotel is not just a place to stay — it is an experience, a piece of living heritage, and very beautiful hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt thoughtful, calm, and deeply authentic. The architecture and craftsmanship are extraordinary — every detail reflects Nepal’s cultural history and soul. Walking through the courtyards feels like stepping into another world. What truly makes this place special, however, is the service. The team goes above and beyond in a way that feels genuine and heartfelt, not formal or scripted. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and caring. I felt looked after in the most natural way. The atmosphere is peaceful yet inspiring, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the entire experience feels meaningful rather than just luxurious. If you are visiting Kathmandu and want something truly special — not just a hotel, but a cultural and emotional experience — Dwarika’s is exceptional. I would return without hesitation.
